That was at the Club circuit at Hampton, which has no decent straights. Might manage it on Hampton’s National circuit or at Pukekohe - more full throttle time per lap.

I used to have an automatic Austin Maxi called the Queen Mary. But that was in honour of its steering and throttle response, not its fuel consumption.

My worst fuel economy has always been at the twistiest track I drive(Shenandoah at Summit Point, 22 turns over 2.2 miles). I don’t remember the exact mileage, but I think I got it below 8mpg. At Watkins Glen last year I was at 12-13mpg even though it is a much faster track.
